I am still completing the LoDash library project. Each new method that is introduced is a different type of challenge. Sometimes I can solve them quickly. Others times, it takes me longer. I believe this is because we “bring to the table” our own individual experiences. One skill that you will develop is understanding the many possible solutions for programming problems. Rarely will your programming solutions will be exactly the same as the solutions presented by the course. This has hidden benefits in that you will be exposed at least two solutions to the same implementation of the function. This helps develop your problem solving skills by exposing you to different techniques. Sometimes your solution and the course solutions can be optimized to be a more efficient solution. Maybe this is the course’s intention. This helps me increase my confidence in programming.
